Hey friend, we pour heart and care into every piece here on the Michigan homestead—laser-cutting wood signs, slate markers, ornaments, and custom touches one at a time. We want you to love what comes to your door, but since these are handmade and often personalized, our policy keeps things fair and simple for everyone.

Returns & Exchanges

•  Non-Custom / Standard Items: You have 14 days from delivery to request a return or exchange if the item arrives damaged, defective, or isn’t quite what you expected (e.g., wrong item shipped).

•  Item must be unused, in original condition/packaging.

•  We’ll cover return shipping if it’s our error (wrong item/damaged in transit); otherwise, you cover return shipping.

•  Refunds issued to original payment method minus original shipping costs.

•  Custom or Personalized Items: These are made just for you (e.g., custom wording on signs/markers, specific designs, or personal touches). Because they’re tailored, they can’t be resold—so no returns, exchanges, or refunds unless the item arrives damaged or doesn’t match what we agreed on.

•  How to Start a Return:
Email us at langegirldesigns@gmail.com within the 14-day window (or as soon as you notice damage). Include your order number, photos of the item/issue, and what you’d like (refund, exchange, repair). We’ll get back to you quick—barn chores depending!

Damaged or Defective Items

If something arrives broken or not right (e.g., crack in wood/slate from shipping, etching error on our end), contact us right away with photos. We’ll make it right—replacement, repair, or refund (your choice). We stand behind our craft.

Refunds

•  Processed within 5-7 business days after we receive/approve the return.

•  Original shipping fees aren’t refunded (unless our mistake).

•  No refunds for change of mind on custom pieces or after the 14-day window.

A Few Notes from the Homestead

•  Wood and slate are natural—expect slight variations in grain, color, or texture. These aren’t defects; they’re part of what makes each piece unique and one-of-a-kind.

•  We ship carefully, but transit happens—report damage within 7 days for quickest help.

•  If you’re unsure about sizing, wording, or fit before ordering, just ask! We’re happy to chat custom details.
