Country Cowgirl Rustic Decor with Southwestern Farm Vibes

Howdy, friends. These are the things we make right here on the farm: layered wood signs, slate markers, and ornaments pulled from barn life, horses, alpacas, and the wildcrafted plants around the edges. Durable, simple, made to stick around through Michigan seasons. Nothing over-the-top—just honest craft for homes that feel rooted.

Our Story

A little peak behind the scenes

Hey there—I’m Kara, the one mucking stalls, tending the garden, and homeschooling between chores at Lange Girl Farms. These designs grew out of our own needs: a sign with meaning for the wall, markers that hold up in rain and snow, ornaments that don’t break after one holiday. Laser-cut with care, one piece at a time, drawing from Colorado beginnings and our Michigan homestead now. If you’re after decor that’s real, sustainable, and tied to everyday farm rhythms, these might feel right at home.

What’s been in the workshop lately

A handful of favorites we’ve been putting together…
•  Layered Wood Signs
Simple depth with homestead words, barn scenes, or quiet verses. Adds warmth to walls or porches without fuss—built tough for real life.
•  Slate Markers
For gardens, coops, or beds—etched labels that weather the seasons so things stay organized and pretty year-round.
•  Ornaments & Small Touches
Barn-inspired bits, livestock nods, seasonal charm. Hang ’em up or keep ’em out; they last beyond trends..

The Farm

All this ties back to the same farm life as our salves, teas, and fibers—handmade, zero-waste where we can, meant for daily use. Y’all are welcome to wander over to Lange Girl Farms for the full story: animals, garden bits, recipes, and whatever’s happening in the barn today. No pressure, just sharing the journey.
